Sam's school celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday by performing a musical. All the kids in 2 of the first grade classes were all dressed up in black with matching hats, mittens, noses, whiskers and scarfs. They sang five "Seuss" songs and sounded awesome! It was a real treat to listen to them all and have Sam be a part of it. Dr. Seuss is one of his favorite authors! He is close to having ALL the Seuss books, and has no trouble reading them! He LOVES to read and soaks it all in. He is the top reader in his class- they have to read books indvidually and then take a test on the book they have read- he has read 77 books and passed all of the tests. I just hope he continues to enjoy reading through out his life!
